3M™ 665 Double Sided Film Tape is a 3.5 mil linerless PVC film tape with medium-tack adhesive on both sides. The higher-tack side is positioned on the face, or interior, of the roll. Linerless construction eliminates liner waste entirely and supports both manual and automated dispensing workflows without interruption.
This tape is designed for applications requiring repositionable or removable bonds without surface damage. Core starting, end tabbing of papers, foils, and films, and light-duty splicing are common uses in manufacturing, converting, and roll-goods processing environments. Optimal adhesion is achieved when applied between 70°F and 100°F.
The tape is wound on a 3-inch core and ships via parcel carrier. Each case contains 72 rolls, making it practical to maintain consistent stock in high-volume production settings.
