3M™ 2525 Flatback Tape is a 9.5 mil orange flatback paper tape with a rubber-based adhesive, offered in a 2-inch width by 60-yard length, 6 rolls per case. The heavy-duty paper backing delivers high tensile strength and resists tearing under tension, making it well suited for holding, bundling, splicing, and masking in demanding industrial settings.
The tape performs reliably in paint booths, powder coating lines, and heat-sealing operations, with a temperature rating of up to 300°F for one hour. Its orange color aids visual identification on production lines and in warehouse environments. Note that this tape is not recommended for outdoor use or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as adhesive removal becomes significantly more difficult over time.
Each roll measures 2 inches wide by 60 yards and the tape is moisture resistant, supporting use in humid or wash-down-adjacent environments. At approximately 7.16 lbs. per case, this product ships via parcel carrier.
