Scotch® 893 Filament Tape is a 6.0 mil strapping tape with a clear polypropylene film backing reinforced with fiberglass yarn filaments. That filament construction delivers high tensile strength with minimal stretch, reducing the number of wraps needed per application and lowering overall tape consumption without sacrificing hold.
The synthetic rubber adhesive bonds firmly to corrugated, wood, metal, and plastic — making this tape well suited for bundling, palletizing, reinforcing cartons, and unitizing loads in distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and shipping departments. Easy unwind and clean tear characteristics support consistent application speed on both manual and dispensed workflows.
The polypropylene backing resists moisture, abrasion, and scuffing to maintain bond integrity through transit and storage. Each case contains 36 rolls, 1 inch wide by 60 yards each, and ships via parcel carrier.
