This 1/2" x 3,250' smooth black polyester strapping is wound on a 16 x 3" core and sold 2 coils per case. Non-corrosive and moisture-resistant, it delivers reliable tension retention over the full duration of transit — a meaningful advantage over steel strapping in humid or outdoor storage environments.
Polyester strapping is well-suited for palletized manufactured goods, unitized lumber and building materials, distribution center outbound freight, and agricultural bundling applications. Its reduced weight compared to steel improves ergonomics during repeated application on high-volume dock operations.
The smooth surface is compatible with serrated or sandpaper crimp seals and works with standard strapping tools. Each coil weighs approximately 25.3 lbs; full case weight is 50.6 lbs. Ships via parcel carrier.
